Does diet affect acne and blemishes?

It's advisable to opt for low-GI foods like whole grains, vegetables, and healthy proteins. 2. Dairy Products: Some people may be sensitive to dairy products, which could potentially lead to acne. If you suspect dairy might be an issue, you can try temporarily avoiding them to see if there's any improvement. 3. Antioxidants: Including foods rich in antioxidants in your diet, such as berries, green tea, and nuts, can help maintain skin health and reduce oxidative damage. 4. Hydration: Staying well-hydrated helps keep your skin moisturized and can reduce the appearance of acne and blemishes. 5. Avoiding Irritants: Spicy foods and excessive caffeine intake can be skin irritants and may worsen acne. 6. Increase Fruits and Vegetables: I increased my intake of fruits and vegetables, especially those high in antioxidants like berries, leafy greens, and red apples. This contributed to healthier skin and reduced skin issues. In summary, these dietary adjustments have helped me improve my acne and blemish problems. My skin looks clearer, and I'm less prone to breakouts. Of course, this isn't an overnight change; it requires consistency, but it has indeed been effective for me.
